BEST OF ALL IS HONG KONG!

Our #truetraveler for this edition presents to us her latest trip to Hong Kong. Fer Millan, a Mexican blogger with a sweet personality, colorful photos, impeccable style and a huge passion for traveling and fashion tells us everything about this marvelous city.

The last trip I made was to Hong Kong, it was a really express trip but a really meaningful one, I went with my boyfriend to celebrate one of his closest friend’s wedding day and it was incredible!
The activity I loved the most was going to Victoria Peak, it is definitely the place where you can get the best view of the city! It is great for seeing the bay and loose yourself in the nature but in the other hand being able to admire the city and the skyscrapers. Also, it is a really good place to practice sports activities in the morning. You can reach the peak via the Peak Tram, the 120-year-old funicular railway that departs from its terminus on Garden Road. I recommend you to arrive a half-hour before sundown.

SoHo is one of the coolest Hong Kong’s neighborhoods, it is most commonly known as an after-dark destination for dining and entertainment but also fashion lovers find it fascinating thanks to it’s unique stores and original pieces that you can find in here.

The restaurants that I recommend you are the following: Chôm Chôm, which offers delicious vietnamese food; you must go to Ho Lee Fook for dinner, it is one of Hong Kong’s most popular Chinese restaurants;  Le Garcon Saigon for lunch and dinner if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. The PMQ it’s a hub for design and creative industries which also counts with delicious restaurants, you will want to check it out!
For drinks, I went to Ozone, located in the Ritz Carlton’s 118th floor, I could see all Hong Kong’s bay from here and I also visited Happy Paradise, a really popular bar.

I visited the Man Mo Temple, one of Hong Kong’s oldest temples and a declared monument surrounded by the city chaos. It is wonderful and leaves you impressed!

Traveling has made me realize that the happiness that a trip makes you feel depends only in yourself, it is not about how far you go or with how many people you travel but the attitude you have towards the experience and your desire to visit new places. Either making short trips or long ones, traveling solo or  with company, coming back happy or having experiences where you come back home crying, are only little tests of the adventure that is coming...

My next destination will be France, between Paris and the South, visiting my boyfriend’s family that each year makes me feel a part of them by including me in their customs and traditions full of happiness and love! I already want to be there!
