NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Have you ever gone back to a place you once knew so well and rediscover it? If you have been to New York you know that it always has something new to offer. It’s pretty cool that this time it was US what was new in the city: the presentation of our new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection at L’Effrontée Showroom, which I have to say has the best location just above Gansevoort Market and next to the Whitney Museum.

Going to NY has become one of the highlights of my year. I get to meet amazing people (and work with them!), visit new museums, eat in new delicious restaurants.. but this time I got to discover, walk around and deeply enjoy a new piece of it: SoHo. Having lived in New York before I couldn’t believe I have missed the shops, art and life of this part of the city, so full with inspiration, wherever you look you can spot art and creativity blooming. And also the hotel! Soho Grand Hotel is one of the prettiest hotels I've ever  stayed, it is super connected and the staff is simply the best.I have to say that I was a bit nervous about presenting the new collection. This time we went for a big, bold statement collection complemented with the audacity of two finishes in the same piece, Gold and Rhodium Plated. I kept imagining how amazing it was going to look while sketching it. Definitely a challenge to communicate with the design and production team, but hard work paid off and when we finally saw the pieces our jaws drop! I just think its’ beautiful <3

This week in New York was all about making people fall in love… with the collection of course! And I’m so happy with the response! So now that I absolutely love it, it’s time to make YOU love it too.
