MY FAVORITE PLACE IN MEXICO
The best way to get to know San Miguel is to wander around this pedestrian-friendly city, discover small restaurants, find some perfect spots for photographs, admire its beautiful streets and go shopping on their selective concept stores.
The principal building is La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, you will be amazed by it’s architecture and beautiful terrarium colors, the weddings that take place in here seem like taken out of a fairytale.
If you are planning to stay in this outstanding city, I highly recommend El Hotel Nena. This hotel only has 6 rooms which are decorated with an amazing taste and will make you feel at home; the staff gives you the best kind of service and attention, you will eat spectacular food in Nexia restaurant located inside the hotel, admire the art pieces that are exhibited and definitely enjoy the breathtaking view that the rooftop has to offer.
For the perfect Sunday brunch you must go to Restaurante 1826 inside The Rosewood Hotel where you will find exquisite food and a pleasant atmosphere, the menu offers tradicional Mexican dishes prepared with organic ingredients that you would absolutely love. My favorite dish in here are the classic Mexican chilaquiles, prepared with cheese, cream and sauce, they make Sunday brunch perfect! As well you can't skip taking a mezcal's coctel with the 360 rooftop view at the Luna Rooftop Tapas bar.
If you like art and design, La Aurora is the right place for you. It is a former textile fabric in which you can find the most amazing galleries of the place, filled with art pieces that will leave you amazed. Something that I loved is that they offer open art workshops where people can go and witness how artists do their magic and finally, if you feel hungry after watching a lot of art, La Aurora has different restaurants with a great variety of food for you to sit and enjoy!
For some shopping near downtown you can find Casa R, a Concept Store with a exquisite selection of products, furniture, decoration, clothes, jewelry and accessories. Here you can find some of our best-seller pieces too.
